These pages give brief explanations of health conditions
that may be treated with over-the-counter
(OTC) medications. For each condition, OTC treatments
are suggested. In many cases, OTC treatments
may provide relief from symptoms. In some cases, they may
eliminate the condition.
Home Page Search Options
From the Health Guide homepage, you have three basic options:
- If you know your condition, but are not sure what to take
for it, use the Conditions option.
- If you know your symptoms, but do not know the condition,
use the Symptoms option. Note: The
symptoms in this application suggest conditions that may
be treated with OTC medications. These same symptoms may be indicative
of more serious conditions that should be diagnosed and
treated by a physician.
- Type a condition, symptom, or treatment name in the Search box. For best results, stick to short, simple search criteria.
