Flatulence

An excess of gas in the stomach or intestinal tract, flatulence can be caused by swallowing excess air or as a byproduct of digestion.

The active ingredient simethicone is present in most OTC products intended to decrease excess gas. OTC antiflatulents include Gas-X, Mylanta Gas, Mylicon Gas, and Phazyme-95.
