Fettuccine a la Prosciutto

  • 2-1/4 cups evaporated skim milk
  • 1 Tbs. cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1/4 lb. sliced prosciutto, cut into bite-size strips
  • 3 ounces sliced mushrooms, optional
  • 1/2 lb. cooked fettuccine

Stir milk, cornstarch and mustard over medium heat until thickened and bubbly. Add cheese and stir until melted. Last but not least, add the ham and the drained mushrooms. Serve over fettuccine.
