Sesame Peanut Dipping Sauce

- 1-1/2 Tbs. unsalted smooth natural peanut butter, avoid using the oil on top
- 1-1/2 tsp. tahini
- 2 Tbs. soy sauce or tamari
- 2 Tbs. nonfat yogurt, or more to taste
- 2-1/2 Tbs. dark or light brown sugar
- 1 garlic clove, finely minced
- 1 Tbs. crushed red pepper, or pepper flakes, or more to taste
- 2-1/4 tsp. roasted peanuts, finely chopped
- 2 Tbs. fresh cilantro leaves, chopped
Whisk together the first 7 ingredients. Cover with plastic wrap and let stand for 1 hour at room temperature. Stir in chopped peanuts and cilantro and serve.
