Green Beans Polonaise
Prep: 5 min, Cook: 15 min.
  • 1-1/2 lbs. frozen green beans, thawed
  • 2 Tbs. unsalted butter
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1-1/2 Tbs. minced onion flakes
  • 1/4 cup dry breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice

Place beans in a steamer basket over boiling water. Cover pan and steam 8-10 minutes or until tender. Remove green beans from pan and set aside. Melt butter in a heavy nonstick skillet over medium heat. Sauté garlic 1 minute. Discard garlic and stir in remaining ingredients.

Cook about 2 minutes, stirring frequently until crumbs are golden. Add green beans and salt and pepper to taste. Toss to coat and serve.
