Place a roll in your hand. With scissors, snip roll into 5 or 6 slices, cutting nearly to the bottom. Spread butter into each slice and dust with flour, if desired. Place roll in a muffin tin cup coated with nonstick cooking spray. Repeat with remaining rolls. Cover with plastic wrap that has been coated with nonstick cooking spray. Let rise 1-1/2 to 2 hours, or until doubled in size. Preheat oven to 350°F. Remove plastic wrap from rolls and bake 15-20 minutes. Immediately place rolls on a cooling rack. This recipe serves 6 people. Due to the nature of this recipe, it adjusts the number of servings in multiples of 6 only.
