Glazed Baked Apples with Dried Fruit
This warm blend of tart fall fruits and sweet spices makes the perfect follow-up to a traditional holiday meal.

- 2 Golden Delicious apples
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 1/4 cup dried cranberries
- 2 Tbs. plus 2 tsp. packed brown sugar
- 2 Tbs. dried apricots
- 1/2 tsp. ground allspice, divided
- 2 Tbs. butter
- 1 cup apple juice
- 2 Tbs. frozen cranberry juice concentrate, thawed

Preheat oven to 400°F. Remove stems from apples, cut into quarters and remove the core. Arrange apples in 8x8 inch glass baking dish.
Mix raisins, cranberries, sugar, apricots, and 1/2 tsp. allspice in small bowl and sprinkle fruit mixture around apples in dish. Drizzle butter into filling and around apples in dish. Pour apple juice and cranberry concentrate into dish. Sprinkle remaining 1/4 tsp. allspice into dish.
Bake apples uncovered until tender, occasionally basting with cranberry juice mixture, about 35 to 45 minutes.
Transfer apples to a serving bowl. Pour juices from dish into medium saucepan and boil until thick enough to coat spoon, about 4 minutes. Spoon sauce over apples.
