Swiss Bison Burger Muffins
Prep: 10 min, Cook: 10 min.
  • 2 Tbs. plus 2 tsp. unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 tsp. parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp. dried tarragon
  • 1/4 tsp. dried basil
  • 1 lb. ground bison, shaped into burgers
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 4 English muffins, split and toasted
  • 3/4 red onion, sliced

Prepare grill or turn on broiler. Combine first 4 ingredients in a bowl and set aside. Grill or broil burgers 4-5 minutes per side or to desired doneness. Top each with a slice of cheese and cook about 30 seconds or until cheese melts. Spread herb mixture over each muffin half. Place onion and burger on half the muffins. Top with remaining muffin halves.
