Melt butter in a heavy nonstick skillet over medium high heat. Sauté mushrooms, onion, thyme and salt to taste 2 minutes or until softened. Transfer to a bowl. Set aside and keep warm. Cook burgers in same skillet 4-5 minutes per side or to desired doneness. Serve on bottom muffin halves topped with mushroom mixture and remaining muffin halves.
