Juicy Beef Burgers
Prep: 10 min, Cook: 10 min.
  • 1-1/2 lbs. ground beef
  • 3/4 cup quick or old fashioned oatmeal, uncooked
  • 1/2 cup onion or green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/3 cup ketchup, tomato sauce, beer, burgundy wine or milk
  • 1 egg
  • seasoned salt
  • 6 hamburger buns

Turn on broiler. Combine all ingredients, except buns, in a bowl. Season with seasoned salt and pepper to taste. Mix well. Shape to form 6 3-1/2 inch patties. Broil about 5 inches from heat 5-6 minutes per side, or until cooked throughout. Serve on hamburger buns.

Microwave oven directions: Preheat microwave browning grill in microwave oven on high about 8 minutes. Place patties on grill and cook in microwave oven on high about 3 minutes per side, or until cooked throughout.
