Caribbean Burgers with Tropical Salsa

- 1/2 cup crushed pineapple, well drained
- 1 Tbs. jalapeño pepper, finely chopped
- 1 Tbs. fresh orange juice
- 1/4 tsp. ground allspice
- 1/4 tsp. ground turmeric
- 1 lb. ground chuckor ground chicken or turkey
- 1/3 cup crushed pineapple, well drained
- 2 Tbs. green onions, finely chopped
- 1 Tbs. parsley flakes
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. ground allspice
- 1/4 tsp. ground turmeric
- 4 hamburger rolls
For the Tropical Salsa mix th3e first first five ingredients in a bowl and set aside. Mix the ground meat, pineapple, green onions parsley,sugar and spices in a large bowl and shape into four patties.
Grill the burgers over medium heat for 5 to seven minutes per side or until cooked through to an internal of 165°F. Serve on hamberger rolls and top with Tropical Salsa.
