Imperial Pork Cutlets
Prep: 5 min, Cook: 20 min.
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar or white vinegar
  • 3 Tbs. lite soy sauce
  • 2 Tbs. honey
  • 1/8 tsp. hot pepper sauce
  • 2 tsp. vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp. sesame oil
  • 4 boneless pork loin chops, trimmed
  • 6 cloves garlic, coarsely crushed
  • 1 Tbs. fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 Tbs. cilantro (optional), chopped

Combine first 4 ingredients in a bowl. Stir well and set aside. Heat oils in a heavy nonstick skillet over medium high heat. Cook chops about 2 minutes on each side or until browned. Add garlic and ginger and cook 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to low. Add vinegar mixture. Cover and cook about 10 minutes, until chops are fork tender. Uncover and cook 2-3 minutes more or until sauce is slightly thickened. Garnish with chopped cilantro if desired.
