Plain Broiled Flounder or Sole
Prep: 5 min, Cook: 10 min.
  • 1 lb. flounder or sole fillets
  • 2 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1 Tbs. plus 1 tsp. unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 tsp. paprika

Sprinkle fish with lemon juice. If desired, add black pepper to taste. Melt butter in a shallow ovenproof serving dish. Add fillets and turn to coat evenly with butter. Sprinkle with paprika. Broil 4 inches from heat source about 5-10 minutes, or until fish is opaque and flakes easily when tested with a fork.
