Easy Apple Strudel
Prep: 15 min, Cook: 35 min.
  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 2 large tart apples, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 2 Tbs. raisins
  • 2 Tbs. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 Tbs. water

Preheat oven to 350°F. Roll out puff pastry on a lightly floured work surface to a 12x15 inch rectangle. Transfer to a baking sheet. Toss raisins, apples, sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Spoon mixture down center of the dough. Combine beaten egg and water in a bowl and brush over edges of dough. Roll up dough with seam side down. Tuck ends under and brush outside of dough with egg wash. Make small diagonal cuts across the top of the dough. Bake 35 minutes or until golden.
