Chizuru's Yakitori (Chicken Kebabs)
Prep: 15 min, Marinate: 1:00, Cook: 10 min.
  • 2 Tbs. soy sauce
  • 1 Tbs. oil
  • 2 Tbs. sake
  • 1 clove garlic, sliced
  • 1 tsp. fresh ginger, sliced
  • 1 Tbs. lemon juice
  • 1-1/2 lbs. boneless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into bite-size pieces
  • skewers

Combine first 6 ingredients in a bowl. Add chicken pieces and marinate 1 hour in refrigerator. Prepare grill or turn on broiler. Place chicken pieces on skewers. Sauté chicken in a heavy nonstick skillet over medium-high heat 2 minutes until browned on all sides. Grill or broil 3-4 minutes, turning frequently, until cooked through.
