Preheat oven to 400°F. Melt 2 Tbs. butter in a heavy nonstick skillet over medium heat. Stir in potatoes, onions, garlic and salt and pepper to taste. Cook 12-15 minutes over medium heat, turning occasionally. Stir in remaining butter. Cook 5-7 minutes, until potatoes are golden brown. Sprinkle mozzarella on bread shell. Top with ham slices. Place potato mixture over ham. Top with provolone slices. Sprinkle with Parmesan and parsley. Bake directly on oven rack 15-20 minutes or until cheese is melted. This recipe serves 6 people. Due to the nature of this recipe, it adjusts the number of servings in multiples of 6 only.
