Potted Pork Chops
Prep: 10 min, Cook: 55 min.
  • 1 Tbs. unsalted butter
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 4 pork loin chops, bone-in, thick cut
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 package brown gravy mix
  • 1 lb. egg noodles

Melt butter in a flameproof casserole over medium high heat. Sauté onions 4-5 minutes or until softened. Move onions to the side of dish and cook pork chops 2 minutes per side until browned. Stir in water and gravy mix. Reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer 45 minutes, or until meat is just cooked through. Meanwhile, cook egg noodles in boiling salted water 5-7 minutes or until just tender. Drain and serve topped with pork chops and gravy.
