Barbecued Tofu
Prep: 5 min, Cook: 10 min.
  • 1 lb. firm tofu, drained and cut into 1/2 inch slices
  • 2 tsp. unsalted butter
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 4 Kaiser rolls, optional

Pat tofu dry with paper towels. Melt butter in a heavy nonstick skillet over medium high heat. Sauté tofu 3 minutes. Turn and sauté another 5 minutes. Add barbecue sauce. Remove from heat when sauce is just heated throughout. Serve with Kaiser rolls if desired.
