German Turkey Ham Sandwiches
Prep: 5 min, Cook: 5 min.
  • 1/4 cup coarse grain mustard
  • 1 Tbs. dark brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 2 Tbs. honey
  • 1-1/2 Tbs. red wine vinegar
  • 2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 Tbs. prepared horseradish
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 4 turkey ham steaks, or ham steaks, about 1/4 lb. each
  • 8 slices rye bread

Combine first 7 ingredients in a mixing bowl. Cover and set aside to let flavors meld. Place water and ham in a heavy nonstick skillet over medium heat. Simmer ham 5 minutes or until heated throughout. Drain ham and serve on bread with mustard mixture.
