Broccoli with Carrots
Prep: 10 min, Cook: 15 min.
  • 3/4 lb. carrots, peeled and cut into 1/8 inch slices
  • 3/4 lb. broccoli florets
  • 1 Tbs. unsalted butter

Place carrots in a steamer basket over boiling water. Cover saucepan and steam 4 minutes. Add broccoli and steam another 7-8 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Transfer to a serving bowl. Add butter, and salt and pepper to taste before serving.
