Orange Sherbet with Chocolate Sauce

- 3 ounces unsweetened chocolate, finely chopped
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2/3 cup heavy cream, hot, more if needed
- 3/4 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/8 tsp. salt (optional)
- 2 cups orange sherbet
Combine all ingredients, except sherbet, in a food processor or blender. Process until mixture is smooth. Add more hot cream if sauce is too thick. Serve sauce over sherbet.
