Speedy Baked Beans
Prep: 5 min, Cook: 20 min.
  • 2 bacon slices, cut into 1 inch pieces (optional)
  • 1-1/4 lbs. canned baked beans
  • 1/3 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 Tbs. plus 2 tsp. brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 2 tsp. molasses
  • 1-1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. dry mustard

Heat a heavy nonstick skillet over medium high heat. Sauté bacon 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently until crisp. Drain and discard drippings. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover, reduce heat to medium low and simmer 15 minutes.
