Caramel Bread Pudding
Prep: 15 min, Cook: 35 min.
  • 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 5 slices bread, crusts removed and quartered
  • 2 Tbs. unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2-1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 350°F. Press sugar into the bottom of a baking dish. Place bread on top of sugar. Drizzle bread with melted butter. Sprinkle with raisins and cinnamon. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over bread. Bake 35-40 minutes or until tester comes out clean when inserted in center.
