Combine soup and salsa in a saucepan and set aside. Heat a heavy nonstick skillet over medium high heat. Sauté beef and onion until beef is browned and onion is tender, stirring to separate meat. Spoon off fat. Add 1/2 cup soup mixture. Reduce heat to medium and heat through, stirring occasionally. Heat remaining soup mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Arrange chips on a large serving platter and top with meat mixture. Spoon soup mixture over meat. Top with tomato and pepper. This recipe serves 8 people.
