Preheat oven to 350°F. Combine flour and 1 Tbs. sugar in a food processor or mixing bowl. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse meal. With machine running, gradually add cold water. Stop mixing when dough forms a ball. Transfer dough to a lightly floured work surface. Roll dough into a 13 inch circle. Press into a 12 inch tart pan or shallow baking pan. Trim excess dough from edges. This recipe serves 8 people. Due to the nature of this recipe, it adjusts the number of servings in multiples of 8 only.
