Grilled Appetizer Shrimp
Prep: 10 min, Marinate: 1:00, Cook: 5 min.
  • 2 Tbs. plus 2 tsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 1 Tbs. plus 1 tsp. fresh lime juice
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 2 tsp. parsley, finely chopped
  • 2 tsp. water
  • 1 Tbs. plus 1 tsp. fresh ginger, grated
  • 3/4 tsp. basil
  • 20 large shrimp, tail on, cleaned and deveined
  • 2 Tbs. plus 2 tsp. unsalted butter, melted

Combine all ingredients, except butter, in a bowl. Stir to coat shrimp.

Cover and marinate in refrigerator at least 1 hour.

Prepare grill or turn on broiler. Arrange shrimp on grill, basting with melted butter. Cook about 2 minutes per side until just cooked through, basting occasionally with melted butter. Serve immediately.
