Bread Machine Herb Bread
Prep: 10 min, Cook: 1:00.
  • 1-1/2 tsp. active dry yeast
  • 2 cups bread flour
  • 1/2 tsp. celery seed
  • 1/2 tsp. caraway seed
  • 1/2 tsp. ground sage
  • 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbs. nonfat dry milk
  • 2 tsp. unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup plus 1 Tbs. water
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice

All ingredients are measured for a small loaf and should be at room temperature. Add ingredients in order specified for your bread machine. Set on standard setting, medium or normal baking cycle. Do not use programmable timer since recipe contains perishable ingredients.
