Grill Machine Ginger Tofu
Prep: 5 min, Marinate: 30 min, Cook: 5 min.
  • 2 tsp. peanut oil, or other oil
  • 1 Tbs. fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup mirin, or sweet rice wine
  • 2 Tbs. light tamari or soy sauce
  • 1 lb. firm tofu, cut into 1 inch slices

Combine all ingredients, except tofu, in a bowl. Mix thoroughly. Add tofu and marinate 30 minutes. Preheat grill machine. Remove tofu from marinade and reserve marinade. Arrange tofu steaks on hot grill. Close cover and cook 2 minutes. Brush with marinade, close cover, and cook another minute.
