South-of-the-Border Bean and Bacon Pizza

This recipe is a derivation of Tex-Mex cuisine.

Prep: 10 min, Cook: 10 min.
  • 1 10-ounce canned refrigerated pizza crust
  • 1 lb. spicy or extra spicy canned chili beans, undrained
  • 4 bacon slices, crumbled
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 lb. blended Colby and Monterey Jack cheese

Heat oven to 425°F. (Place oven rack at lowest position.) Grease 12 inchpizza pan or 9x13 inch pan. Unroll dough and place in greased pan; starting at center, press out with hands. Add beans, bacon, onion, and cheese. Bake at 425°F for 5-8 minutes, or until crust begins to brown.
