Wrapping Bread Be sure to let a loaf of bread cool completely before putting it in a plastic bag or wrapping paper. This is important. If you don't let it cool, the steam can cause the loaf to become mushy, as well as create an environment for breeding bacteria that will decrease its shelf life. |
