Storing Popcorn

It's best to store popcorn in airtight plastic or glass containers and place them in a cupboard. The key is to avoid the loss of moisture. Popcorn that gets dried out won't pop so well.

Storing popcorn in the refrigerator is not recommended, since most fridges contain little moisture. However, the Indiana Popcorn Growers Association recommends storing popcorn in the freezer, which provides the required moisture.
