Freezing Meat When freezing meat, it is better to use a moisture resistant wrap, such as the paper used by butchers. Because aluminum foil is not moisture resistant, the meat is more likely to lose water and develop freezer burn. Make certain the meat is tightly wrapped and securely sealed to prevent oxidation and absorption of other freezer odors. |
