Storing Oysters Store live oysters in their own juices between 35 and 40 degrees Fahrenheit. They'll live from 7 to 10 days. Do not store in an airtight container, as they have to breathe. Do not store in fresh water, as this will kill them. Thaw frozen oysters in the refrigerator. |
