How to Eat Honey Simply spoon out some honey (about a 1/4 of a teaspoon), take in the aroma before letting the honey softly melt on the front of your tongue, as it does so it spreads to the back and side of the tongue bringing out more nuances in flavor. It is important to take your time. Eating unsalted crackers or sipping warm water between each tasting will help neutralize your palette ready for your next tasting. Note: Honey should not be fed to babies under one year of age. Honey is a safe and wholesome food for older children and adults. Source: National Honey Board |
