Watermelon Peak Season In the U.S., watermelon is available year-round. Domestic watermelon is available from April until November, with peak production in May, June, July, and August. Imported watermelon is available from October through June, with peak production months in March, April, and May. The U.S. is the leading exporter of watermelon; 88% if U.S. exports go to Canada, the rest go to Japan, Mexico, Russia, Bermuda, and France. Source: National Watermelon Promotion Board |
