Grilling Chicken Some tips for perfectly grilled chicken: * Thaw chicken in the refrigerator or microwave, never on a counter or table. * Keep uncooked chicken in the refrigerator or cooler until time to grill. * Grill chicken at low temperature, at least six inches from the heat, with adequate cooking time. * Chicken should be well-done, with a temperature of 180ºF; or for boneless parts, 160ºF. * Serve grilled chicken on a clean plates. * Wash hands, kitchen counter, cutting boards, knives, and other utensils with hot soapy water after each contact with raw poultry or other meat. |
