If you are unable to use fresh product within two to three days after purchase, it is recommended that you freeze the fillets in order to use the product at another time.

To freeze, the fish should be placed in a freezer-worthy container (or plastic freezer bag) filled with water, sealed tightly, labeled with that day's date, and stored at or as close to 0°F as possible. The fish should be used within 120 days of freezing. If water is not applied in the freezing process, The fish should be used within 30 days of freezing. Fish are thawed from a frozen state should not be re-frozen under any circumstances.
