Cilantro

About Usually sold in bunches, the leaves and stems are often used in highly spiced Asian, Latin American, and Caribbean dishes.

Choosing Choose bunches with bright green leaves free of wilting.

Storage Store in a plastic bag in the refrigerator for one week. It stores longest if the bunch is placed in a container of water, stems down. Cover with a plastic bag and change the water every few days.

Cooking Cilantro is usually added at the end of cooking.

Nutrition Cilantro has a fair amount of potassium.
