Avoid Beet Stains While many of us like the sweet taste of beets, we're not too fond of those colorful blotches it often leaves on our hands, clothes, and countertops. To prevent your kitchen from looking like a scene from the Sci-Fi Channel, do this: put on disposable rubber gloves and place wax paper over your cutting board. Cut and peel your beets as usual, then toss the gloves and wax paper. Good-bye, stains. |
